QA is a proud lead delivery partner of which is giving eligible students up to £24K in funding and the chance to work with the biggest names in tech each summer, regardless of what you study. Any subject, any UK university.
Students will also belong to a community where you’ll feel supported and confident to show the real you. You will be able to build skills, confidence and your professional network to set you up for success in the cyber security world.
What you’ll do?
With over 100 organisations to choose from with GCHQ and it’s partners, including the likes of BT, Thales and Llyod. Students can apply for a summer placement; each year, depending on their specialisation and choose from technical to non-technical roles. What’s more, depending on the level of experience GCHQ may even invite students to attend the CyberFirst Academy in the first year of their bursary. Ensuring a strong foundation to kickstart you career in the industry.
What is Cyberfirst?
Cyberfirst is a government outreach and education programme run by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC); part of GCHQ. Together with the government and industry partners, they are training the next generation of industry specialists.
